At The Postcard Hotel, the comfort, health and safety of our guests and employees are always our primary concern. Indeed, we are fortunate that Goa, Sri Lanka and Bhutan have not been greatly affected, and that our hotels are in safe zones. We want to reassure you that we have enhanced our practices around food handling, sanitisation, disinfection and cleaning. Simply put, our refreshed service standards cover every aspect of the hotel and ensure the highest level of safety. Here are all the details.


  • Temperature reading of all guests and associates is taken at the entrance of the hotel using non invasive thermometers.


  • If any of the parameters for our guest or colleagues is not normal, a medical examination and medical assistance is provided immediately.


  • Our hotels in Goa are not open to non-resident guests till 31th October 2020.


  • Protective masks and disposable gloves are being worn by all team members at all times and changed frequently. Housekeeping staff use fresh gloves for every room they service.


  • Most of our team members have accommodation within the property, in order to limit external exposure from the community.


  • Our team has been trained to follow strict disinfection guidelines and uses ISO 13485:2016, GMP, SITRA and CE certified nitrile gloves, shoe covers, protective masks, biohazard bags, head caps and safety glasses.


  • Diversey Virex II 256, a high level hospital grade disinfectant, is used across our hotel to disinfect all surfaces. This disinfectant covers large spaces as well when distributed via a cold fogger.


  • All supplies and materials are cleaned and sanitised before being admitted into the hotel premises, using Diversey CLAX® HYPO, a rinse additive for hygiene and Diversey Oxivir® Five 16 concentrate, a disinfectant effective against key pathogens. Food items are further cleaned using Diversey Suma Tabs, a disinfectant with improved hygiene security which is effective against a wide spectrum of microorganisms in all water conditioning.


  • Our cars are disinfected with Diversey Virex II 256 after every use.


  • All guest luggage is cold fogged and disinfected using Diversey Virex II 256 before it enters the hotel.


  • Repeated cleaning practices are also in place in guest rooms during the morning housekeeping service and also at turndown in the evening using Diversey Virex II 256, a hospital grade disinfectant.


  • All of our hotel spaces are individually air-conditioned and offer outdoor dining and relaxation areas which can be used privately by guests.


  • Private outdoor dining spaces can be reserved on request, for the duration of your stay.


  • Repeated cleaning and sanitisation of all touch points in public areas like door handles, counter tops, table tops, railings, etc. is done using Diversey Oxivir® Tb wipes which are hospital grade pre-wetted wipes, effective against key pathogens.


  • Increased access to 80% ethyl alcohol-based hand sanitisers at multiple locations, including hotel entrances, team areas, kitchens and cloakrooms. Diversey Soft care Des E Extra, suitable for application in healthcare and food processing, is being used across all our hotels for this purpose.


We wish to make your holiday as smooth as possible, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness within our resorts, without compromising on our warm hospitality. We also understand the need for flexibility in travel planning during this time, and want you to feel confident when booking your stay. For guests with existing reservations for any future arrival date, full changes or cancellations are permitted at no charge as long as the change or cancellation is made by 31th October, 2020*. For guests making new reservations for any future arrival date, between today and 31th October, 2020, changes or cancellations are permitted at no charge, and can be done for the next 12 months*. Ideally, changes or cancellations should be done a minimum of 5 days before your scheduled arrival date. Please note that changes to a reservation will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
